HUBUNGAN ANTARA KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA SEKOLAH DENGAN KINERJA GURU DI SMP
NEGERI SE-KECAMATAN UNAAHA KABUPATEN KONAWE

ABSTRACT : Formulation
of the problem in this study is whether there is a relationship between
headmaster leadership with the teacher performance in Secondary Schools in all
Unaaha District Konawe Regency?. The purpose of this study was to determine the
relationship between headmaster leadership with the teacher performance in
Secondary Schools in all Unaaha District Konawe Regency. The population in this
study were all Secondary Schools teachers in Unaaha District Konawe Regency.
Determination o f the sample size at each school conducted random sampling, so
the overall sample size namely 59 people. Based on the results of inferential
statistical analysis found that there is a positive relationship between
headmaster leadership styles with teacher performance as indicated by the
regression equation Y = 9.87 + 0.84 X. Regression analysis showed that each
increase or decrease the score variable headmaster leadership will be followed
by an increase or decrease in scores for teacher performance variables of 0.84
at constant 9.87. This means that the better headmaster leadership in in
Secondary Schools in all Unaaha District Konawe Regency, then the higher the
teachers performance. Correlation test results showed that the positive and
significant correlation between headmaster leadership with teacher performance
as indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.775 with a determination 0.6006
meaning that 60.06% increase in teacher performance is influenced by the
leadership of headmaster. Thus, the level of teacher performance is closely
connected with the headmaster leadership; so as to improve the performance of
teachers will require good headmaster leadership.
